Walking through the doors of the Steeple Center, felt like we're back home (but better because everything smelled brand new.) We can't wait for City on a Hill to return to the Steeple Center in Rosemount for weekly Sunday worship beginning January 3, 2016.
What can you expect in the remodeled facility?
Brand new space. With the new addition to the existing Steeple Center, we will have access to a full kitchen, expanded restrooms and a beautiful lobby for treats and fellowship. The new multi-purpose rooms also give us space to make disciples of children (from birth and upwards of ten-years) with relevant, age-appropriate methods during the weekly worship service.
Invitations extended. Another unique opportunity the new remodel affords is extending our worship services to the residents of the adjoining senior living facility: The Rosemount. These residents will be able to access the Steeple Center through a heated and air conditioned link. No other Sunday worship services are being offered at The Rosemount, so we are thrilled to open our doors to these residents.
New entrances. You can enter the facility for our weekly worship service from two main entrances: the east entrance from Highway 3 or a new west entrance.
New parking space. There are some parallel parking spaces available on Highway 3, and a small parking lot on the east side of the highway. A new courtyard with parking is being constructed with access to the new west entrance. Street parking is available on Cameo Ave W and 143rd St W. Parking will also be available at the Robert Trail Library and DMV. Take a look here.
We are excited for this change and be assured that plenty is remaining unchanged: our desire to make Jesus known; missional ministry; vibrant, Spirit-filled worship; teaching and treasuring God’s Word.
We’ll see you at the Steeple Center January 3, 2016 at 10am. Until then, be sure to join us for our Advent series, The King is Coming, Sundays at 10am in the Rosemount Community Room Banquet Hall and on Christmas Eve: December 24 at 4pm.
